CHICAGO – November 1, 2010– For more than a decade, The Vaya Group—formerly Corporate Insights, Inc.—has been providing best-in-class talent management solutions to its worldwide clients. Over the years the company’s scope has broadened to such an extent that its leaders recognized that a different name and overall identity would more accurately portray the skills and services that set it apart from other companies in the talent management arena.
After considering multiple options, Vaya leaders Dr. Paul Eccher, Dave Ross and Nino Lamberti decided on “The Vaya Group.”
“'Vaya’ is an abbreviation of the word ‘vayama,’ which is a part of the Noble Eightfold Path of Buddhism. It refers to ‘right effort,’’” pointed out Eccher. “The word just clicked with us. We looked into a lot of name possibilities, but none seemed to exemplify what we strive to do like ‘vaya’ does. “It all starts with awareness, both for the individual and for the whole organization, achieved through our in-depth assessment process,” continued Eccher, “and culminates with a development strategy designed specifically to the unique needs of the individual and the organization.”
“Our old name was too limiting,” said Ross. “Corporate Insights, Inc. implies that we simply provide insights to corporations. We do so much more than that; we don’t drop clients in the woods, toss them a map and a bag of breadcrumbs and wish them the best. We work as a guide and strategic partner, providing rigorous and scientific analysis, advanced research, multi-dimensional solutions and ongoing coaching to maximize human potential. “The ‘path’ aspect of the word ‘vayama’ was another element of the name that we particularly enjoyed,” said Lamberti. “We lead our clients along The Vaya Path. It’s a process that helps them cultivate excellence within their organizations. Our new logo alludes to that journey. It depicts the path and movement but also nods to the analytical, scientific qualities that we bring to the table.” Lamberti added, “Talent is the basis of everything positive and our clear mission is to design the path for each client to achieve optimum performance levels.”
