A successful talent management strategy requires a holistic approach that touches every level of your organization – from leadership succession planning and identifying high potentials to developing current employees and assessing new candidates.

Most companies recognize the need for a talent management solution, but implementing a comprehensive plan is challenging. Sixty-eight percent of talent managers say preparing successors for critical roles is a challenge, but only 42% are employing leadership succession planning. And while 69% recognize the need for company-wide initiatives, only 41% tailor development to individuals, and just 27% of those put non-managers through personalized programs.
